Pattern Information

- Difficulty Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate
- Yarn Requirements: 170 yards/150 meters of worsted weight yarn
- Needles: Circular or double-pointed needles, US 6/4mm & US 7/4.5mm recommended, or size to obtain gauge
- Finished Measurements: 9"/22cm tall (excluding pompom), 11.75"/29cm tall (including pompom), Approximately 22"-24"/55-60cm around (hat will stretch to fit up to 24")

This hand knitting pattern features written instructions only (no chart). 

Things you will need:
 - a PDF reader program (such as Adobe) installed on your computer in order to open the file.
 - US size 6/4mm knitting circular or double-pointed needles (or size to obtain gauge)
 - US size 7/4.5mm knitting circular or double-pointed needles (or size to obtain gauge) 
 - 170 yards worsted weight yarn
 - scissors
 - darning needle
 - cable needle

Knitting skills you should already be familiar with:
 - casting on
 - casting off / binding off
 - knit stitch
 - purl stitch
 - stockinette stitch

If you've knitted cables before, you'll probably find this pattern to be pretty easy. If you're new to knitting cables, this is a good project to learn them!
